ABOUT ME

I am from Turkey. I lived in London for 2 years and studied MSc social and cultural psychology at LSE. Living in London was one of the best experiences of my life as I loved to be a part of its cultural diversity.

I am currently living in Giresun, northeast of Turkey, where I work as a research assistant. Lately, I have become a solo-traveler and have been enjoying it very much. I believe it would even be nicer having the chance to experience the city with local people.

sports - especially basketball (European basketball in particular). My favourite team is Efes Pilsen. When I used to live in İstanbul, I never had missed their games. I even went to support them to Athens when they played with Olympiacos.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Supporting my favorite team Efes against Olympiacos in Piraeus Peace and Friendship Stadium (December 2015).

Attending at Euroleague Final Four in Barcelona (2011), in London (2013) and Kaunas (2023).
It was great to see the best teams of Europe competing against each other but what was more amazing was having the chance to meet or interact with other fans.

What I Can Share with Hosts

l can show them around the city, prepare a nice Turkish breakfast and bake some good desserts.
