About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Meet new people in Washington, DC! :D
ABOUT ME
I'm a Californian girl recently moved to DC for work with a non-profit. Looking to meet new people in this fun city! I'm always down for festivals, dancing or going out in nature :) After work, I teach Spanish for a local language school, and this Fall I might apply for a Master's degree in Urban & Regional Planning!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've hosted Couch Surfers before while living in Barcelona, Spain & have been a couch surfer myself in Andalucía! I hope to hear from you soon - if not for the couch, at least to hang out while I'm on the East Coast! I can cook, garden or teach you DIY crafts or language in exchange :)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've hosted people and couch surfed myself in Spain & am looking forward to trying it in Washington DC!
Interests
I love to dance (salsa, tango, samba, folk dance, swing etc.), go to festivals and fairs, play music (darbuka hand drumming!), do DIY projects with recycled materials to make art, meet new people, learn new languages/cultures, try new foodsss, go hiking or kayaking.. and generally trying to stay as outdoors and active as I can!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Being in the middle of an Andalucían Pascua festival of flamenco dancers, Sevillanas folk dancers, guitar players and oxen! Ended up meeting the families of girls I met in town, hanging out on their patio and inviting them over to California, where they hope to study one day :) Definitely an awesome and unexpected experience I will never forget! And that I found out about on a free walking tour of Sevilla (festival in the town of Castelleja de la Cuesta across the bridge)
