I am described by most who know me well as a lover of truth, beauty, and adventure (in both the inner and outer realms). I am a good listener, both willing and able to understand people from all different backgrounds. I have a great desire for diversity and stimulation, but in a more subdued, not hyper-stimulating way. I have a playful wit.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I travel I like to stay with interesting and fun people... I stay away from hostels and B&Bs, not because I am cheap, but because I didn't travel all that way to see tourists!

MOVIES: mostly dramas and comedies, but often not mainstream. I love films by the Coen Brothers, Farrley Brothers, and Pixar. Some favorites are: "The Fountain", "Young Frankenstein", "The Mission", "Crash", "Little Shop of Horrors", "Batman Begins", "What The Bleep Do We Know?, "Wedding Crashers", "Toy Story 3", "What About Bob?" and "Inception".
MUSIC: Baroque, Classical, folk, Mississippi Delta Blues, Dixieland Jazz, Americana.
BOOKS: Astronomy, Jungian Psychology, Mythology, Spiritual Growth/Enlightenment, and Calvin and Hobbes.
