I’m Azar, a data geek and art lover currently living in Stockholm, doing my second Master’s at KTH after studying in Germany and Azerbaijan. I’m passionate about cooking (experimenting with vegan & vegetarian recipes), enjoying a good glass of wine, and getting lost in concerts and deep conversations.

I love traveling, exploring cultures, and believe the world is much more than what we see through our own lenses , there’s always more to learn, share, and connect with kindness. I value personal space and quiet moments just as much as I enjoy meeting new people.

Solo trips across Europe have taught me to appreciate both the company of others and the peace of being on my own. Always happy to share stories, cook together, or simply have a calm evening with good conversation (or no conversation at all , I respect that too! :)

Traveling to different countries is one of the best ways to truly connect with people, learn about their culture, and experience life from a different perspective. For me, Couchsurfing isn’t just about finding a place to stay , it’s about exchanging stories, learning, and sharing small moments of kindness.

As someone who loves trying new things and discovering different cultures, I’m always eager to be involved, whether that’s through cooking, conversations, or simply sharing daily life with my host. It’s these genuine, simple connections that make traveling meaningful to me.

Música, películas y libros

I enjoy all kinds of music depending on the mood ,from classical to pop and even rap. My playlists are always a mix!

One book that left a deep impact on me is The Diary of a Young Girl by Anne Frank. It’s a powerful reminder of resilience and perspective.

As for movies, I’m a big fan of mind-bending stories, so Interstellar is a favorite. When it comes to series, I love sitcoms , like FRIENDS, Big Bang Theory, Modern Family, How I met your mother, Office for comfort and Game of Thrones for the drama (and yes, there are many more on my list!). Also a big fan of the Marvel Universe :D
