About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Walking 4,900 miles with my friend Mark for Charity: Water!

ABOUT ME

All about me? Well, there are many things that make up John. But the most important things are that I feel I'm here on this earth not just to work, but to make a difference in the lives of others. That's why I'm on this trek across America: to help developing nations with clean water resources. It's my mission.

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy is going after what you want in life, and, at the same time, going with the flow. Love others and you will be loved.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

The idea of couch surfing is an amazing one, and one that brings people together in a way no other program has. I'm excited in helping it to grow and learning from others!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

As I set up this profile, I have not yet couchsurfed. However, during the 8 or so months that it will take to walk 4,900 miles I would love to meet as many people as possible and share our stories with them about our trek for Charity: Water.

Interests

In my spare time I love to golf, relax at our local coffee shops, tour D.C and spend time with friends. I love music, both playing and listening.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm not a big reader, but really enjoy self-development books, especially those by Dr. Wayne Dyer and Deepak Chopra.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well, what we're doing now is amazing I believe. With only a 45 pound pack, lots of love and a little luck, we're gonna cross this great nation, 4,900 miles in an effort to raise awareness for clean water resources in developing countries (via Charity:water). Seeing this beautiful country we live in in such an intimate way is something that I'm truly going to cherish.
