A free spirit. Do not conform to society's little constructs, unlearning and learning a lot a long the way. I love live music, am enthralled by nature, find meeting new people exciting, and like having my views challenged.

I haven't hosted anyone yet - because Pretoria seemingly is not a popular tourist destination in South Africa. I also haven't surfed yet due to safety concerns (another perk of being South African)

Interests

My happy places include: art galleries, theatres, nature and places with live music. Also enjoy watching football and rugby.

I am constantly debating social justice issues, have a passion for science and at times can be a very social person.

Music, Movies, and Books

My music taste is broad based and varies from Pink Floyd, to Kid Cudi, Red Hot Chilli Peppers... wait, there isn't enough time or space. I love music.

I watch a variety of movies, the ones that stick with me are usually Scorcese type movies like Shutter Island. Also enjoy art house and foreign films. Foreign films I have explored are Japanese films - if you have any good suggestions please let me know.

Currently reading the Game of Thrones series' books. Read Nietzsche too and Kurt Vonnegut is one of my absolute favorites. Classics such as Catcher in the Rye, Lord of the Flies etc are also favorites.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I can't narrow this to ONE... but...

Cliff jumped, which required overcoming fear.

Dropped from a vertical slide as well. Adrenaline rush much?

Soon I want to add stargazing in Iceland... seeing the northern lights..

I can speak English, Afrikaans and Sesotho. I have tried to learn Spanish, still stuck at the basics though.

South African stories/experiences and great company :) Enjoy cooking too, so would not mind that either.
