About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To travel as much of the USA as possible. The seas, deserts, mountains, forests, cities, towns, fields and the villages.

ABOUT ME

I am currently an International Student at Columbia University in the City of New York. Before coming here I was working for the central bank in Pakistan. I have been loving NYC like anything. During my term breaks I'd try to go beyond NYC and explore much of USA. Travelling, meeting people and making friends around the world has been my passion. I have been to a few countries and the exploration goes on.

PHILOSOPHY

There is a pleasure in the pathless woods,
There is a rapture on the lonely shore,
There is society where none intrudes,
By the deep Sea, and music in its roar:
I love not Man the less, but Nature more - Lord Byron

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Meeting with new people, participating in activities and staying active on different groups.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had only one couchsurfing experience so far, and it was the best I could wish for.

Interests

I like books on history, poetry, religion, fiction and non-fiction, science. I can't name one favorite book as each book is important and incredible in itself. Most recent readings have been Sapiens, Factfulness, Fault in Our Stars, and Life of Muhammad.

I listen to rock, hiphop/rap, alt rock, country and electronic/house. U2, Linking Park, Coldplay, Eminem, Migos, The Weeknd, Armin Van Buuren, Lil Wayne, Migos, Atif Aslam, Shreya Ghoshal are few of the names I listen to most.

I cherish my time in coffee shops everywhere I go.
