About Me
Hey there!
My name's Aziz (עזיז or عزيز, whichever you prefer) and I'm a Sarajevo native. I both work and study here, but am actively researching and contemplating becoming an expat somewhere, so any job/studying leads are always very welcome.
I'm currently studying Marketing management in Sarajevo, but I'll probably be doing a second bachelor's in Biology/Anthropology or something similar. I work as an administrative assistant at an accounting agency, and a project assistant at ACSEE.
I'm really into the arts - I love going to the theater, visit exhibitions, cultural events etc. I'm a dead-on movie buff! On the other hand, I love to relax; and I've recently discovered I don't mind partying 'til the early morning hours and just have a crazy, good time. And finally, I love to travel!
Should you happen to come to Sarajevo, hmu if you want to hang out or do stuff together (as soon as I'm able to, I'll open my profile for hosting requests). I have a vast array of interests and can am pretty easy to talk to (if you manage to stumble upon something I can't talk about, please teach me more about the topic!). Also, if you need help with something, drop me line. :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Through my volunteering and work experiences, I met so many people from different countries and cultures, that I now have more foreign friends, than those who're from Bosnia and Herzegovina. Making a couchsurfing account is just really me trying to maintain this cosmopolitan lifestyle.
I also feel that, when traveling, it's always beneficial having locals advise you on what to do, where to go, what to see and eat, and even more so to stay with locals - thus the profile.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love music in general, ranging from Elgar and Shostakovich to Dua Lipa, Hozier, Lorde, Lana Del Rey, Ed Sheeran, Laura Närhi, Darin, etc. The only music genres that I dislike are metal and rock (sorry).
As for movies: The Dreamers; Lord of the Rings anthology; The Iron Lady; The Life of Pi; Freier Fall, 3096 Tage; K-Pax; J'ai Tué Ma Mère; Mysterious Skin; Malena; Die Mitte Der Welt; Tea With Mussolini; Call Me By Your Name; and so on ...
I a real literature aficionado, and love reading, some of my faves are: Beautiful Creatures series; Harry Potter series; Lord of the Rings series; Forty Rules of Love; Angels and Demons; A Thousand Splendid Suns; The Kite Runner... (These were just the ones at the top of my mind.)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Volunteered at school for kids and youth with developmental disabilities! That was literally the most amazing and fulfilling experience of my life, at least so far.
Something else - Successfully rode a camel only in my swimming trunks (they were speedo!), after accidentally letting go of the saddle strap, for quite some time, before the dude in charge managed to catch us.
Hope couchsurfing will help me expand the list. Although, I always try to see even the smallest things as amazing.
Teach, Learn, Share
Able, and even more importantly willing, to teach you any of the languages I know, or which I'm learning. I'm also happy to teach people how to do housekeeping chores and how to COOK. And I'm open to learning anything that you can help me understand.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can make you amazing home-cooked meals and comfort food, plus my hopes, dreams, and lots of love!
