HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As a family we have been members of CS for many many years and have had countless visits to our home. I've created this new profile for myself but you can check out Hans Unseld, Ulm, this is our family profile.
My husband and daughter have travelled in the USA and were hosted by several families, this has been a wonderful experience for them and they are still in contact with some of the families. Both, our family home in Ulm and our apartment here in Berlin are wide-open for interesting people from around the world, we answer all requests and try to accept them if at all possible.

Learn a new language and culture and become part of a new family! AVENTURO is a non-profit association helping to organize reciprocal exchanges between two children and families of up to 6 months thus creating a life-long bond between the two families. This is a phantastic and life-changing experience and we, a team of experienced country managers, are working with dedication and enthusiasm to make this adventure happen for the families in our countries (France, Germany, Spain, England, Ireland, USA and Canada). We, Ximena from Spain, Marie-Alix from France, Mel from England and Helga from Germany, are mothers of children who participated in several International exchanges. We founded Aventuro.org to promote international exchanges for children from 9 to 16 years old. Children and teenagers live in another country with a selected family who also has children or teenagers so the experience will be a great one for everybody.

Before anyone even starts thinking oh ho they are asking for money so this must be a business! NO, it's not a business. The fee we are asking covers our costs only, we organize meetings in all the countries to meet every family because we take utmost care in matching the families, and once matched, we stay very close to the exchange until it ends.
