I am interested in lots of different things; dance, music, art, current events, reading, sustainability - but my main love is food. I am always cooking, eating, or planing the next meal. I love to meet new people, do new things, and share experiences. I generally want to eat, drink, laugh, and have a good time.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couch-surfed through Belgium, a bit in England, met with people in Paris.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am interested in all sorts of music, from folk music to modern indie bands, opera and classical guitar. I read constantly - some of my favorite books include In Search of Lost Time (Marcel Proust), Alice in Wonderland, Even Cowboys Get the Blues, 2666, etc. I enjoy watching movies, but would not consider myself a movie buff.

Galloping through the foothills of the French Alps.
Watching the sky explode with fireworks in Amsterdam on New Years Eve.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know how to: Speak English, speak French, Classical guitar, Cooking and baking knowledge (especially breads and desserts), gardening and agriculture knowledge, animal husbandry knowledge, ballroom dance and salsa, ballet, horseback riding.

I want to learn: more cooking! and anything else.
