I'm super easy-going and relaxed with a positive attitude to life. I enjoy mostly everything in this life and consider it a beautiful gift. I am open-minded and curious and love meeting people from all over the world and from different walks of life. I'm really into travelling, music, art (aesthetics), good design and books. I'm an extroverted introvert so I love my time alone but also love hanging out with people.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is probably the best way to travel....meeting local people, staying in their homes....that's what it's all about. I use it to continue this ethos and I really enjoy it.

I've recently gotten into climbing (bouldering) after visiting Hampi, India (apparently one of the finest bouldering destinations in the world) so I always try to find a gym to go to wherever I go.

Also into yoga, hiking, cycling around the city, petting cute dogs, anything outdoors really....do beers in the park count as outdoors? lol

This is the hardest section for me to fill....I am basically schizophonic i.e., I listen to everything and I'll try anything atleast once. I have exceeded the limit of songs I can save on my spotify so I really do listen to music a lot!!

Recently I've really been into Ethiopian music (Dur Dur Band, Hailu Mergia etc) and also love Brazilian samba and bossa nova rhythms. I grew up in the middle east so I love anything Arabic, but also have a great love for Algerian (Tinariwen etc), Moroccan (gnawa) tunes and music from Niger. I also love hip-hop and roots reggae/dub along with a big smattering of old school house and techno. If you like to rave and shuffle, we WILL get along. I really do like it all!

Lived in Guanajuato, Mexico for 3 months - one of my favourite cities of all time.
Lived in Da Nang, Vietnam for almost 2 years.
Backpacked India for 3 months alone - beautiful experience
Volunteered on a dairy farm for 2 weeks in rural Turkey
Volunteered in a Bulgarian village in the middle of nowhere at a horse stables
Spent a month travelling all around Morocco
Dropping out of university to pursue my dream career
White water rafting in Ottawa
Photographed weddings around the US, Canada and the Caribbean but the best was being flown to New Delhi for a job!
