I would say I am extremely extroverted normally. I am very much opinionated( in a good way obviously). I love socializing, meeting new people and talking about anything that interests me (there are a lot of things btw, mostly animals, science and the universe). I am a feminist, eclectic, and someone who wants to follow and live a sustainable low waste lifestyle. Also I'm an ecologist by profession ( I'm not working now, I'm looking for a PhD abroad or JRF positions in India).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love traveling and I'm someone who hasn't got a chance to do solo travels and meet new people which I would very much love doing.

Interests

I completed my BS MS and did a research project on ecology and evolution.

Apart from academia, I'm someone who wants to be a perfectionist I love planning and organizing, scheduling tasks, marking deadlines etc.

I love to paint in my free time. I also love journaling my days, doodling etc

I am a cat person but also love dogs, geckos and snakes. If you ask me: Mountains or Oceans? I don't have an answer because both are my favourite. I can sit staring at the sky, climbing mountains for the best views, and star gaze without being tired or bored.

Working out heals me, empowers me and I love spending time in the gym burning my calories and seeing the progress.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love melodies for sure. If I'm asked to say one of my fav songs, i would say 'Chaayappattu' by Sithara.

Books: I used to read a lot in my childhood and the habit of reading ceased when I was in my college days. But now I have started the habit again and I'm so glad that I did.

My recent favourite books are "Tell me your dreams" by Sidney Sheldon and "It ends with us" by Colleen Hoover.

I haven't watched a lot of movies. But I would love to start watching good movies so recommendations are welcome. But some of my favourite movies are The Shawshank Redemption, Fault in Our Stars, Interstellar, The Great Indian Kitchen, Sara's, Love etc...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I don't know the amazing thing I have done, but one of the greatest things I have heard was that I influenced one of my juniors to think out of the box, think beyond the stereotypic notions that he has been following through my Instagram posts and shares. I was tremendously happy when I heard that I am one of the reasons for him to change from a typical patriarchal society towards a more progressive individual!

And the amazing thing I have seen is the sky. The different colours, gradients of the sky from a balcony in the fourth floor of a building with the best company ever!
