About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Explore Chicago!

ABOUT ME

Well, I read too much. Usually find odd things funny, find other people and cultures fascinating, and though a geek at heart, have been convincing people otherwise since 1979.

PHILOSOPHY

Well, my goal for awhile was to get to know another culture so well that I truly understood (and could play off of) the general sense of humor there. :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I grew up in a family and a home where visitors were always welcome and the jokes only grew funnier when there were new people around to share them. I think this tendency was only compounded thru my experiences with Peace Corps and my travels in South America. I like meeting new people and playing the host. When I'm travelling, half of the fun is meeting some locals and listening to them talk about anything/everything.
