Overview
About Me
Hey, we're Azra & Anne, two philosophy students who are hoping to celebrate New Year's eve in Dublin. After New Year, Anne is going to Latin-America for half a year. First traveling through Cuba and Colombia and afterwards studying in Chile (where she can return the favour and host you in the amazing city of Santiago).
We met each other after I, Azra, randomly decided to join a study-trip Anne organised whithout ever being to any other event before nor knowing anyone there. Two months later, we were together on the new board of that same philosophy association. It is always fun to see how spontaneous actions work out. Next to philosophy, I am also studying psychology and Anne is also doing Latin-American studies.
You could say we are both the adventurous type. We love to try new things, travel and are very curious about meeting new people, learning new languages and other cultures.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: I, Azra, find it hard to describe my music style. According to spotify I've discovered 116 genres this year, that might give you a clue why ;)
Anne and I both listen to rock music and jazz. Just some bands we both like: Radiohead, Artic Monkeys, Sonic Youth, The Palms, The Black Keys, Gangs of Youth etc. Always up to explore some new bands or enjoy some live music
Movies are a bit easier though, some of my favorites: american beauty, mulholland drive and underground (by Emir Kusturica). For Anne: Inception, The Great Gatsby, Fight Club, Waking Life, Everything Everywhere All at Once, could go on and on hahah. Also really like watching docu's
I mostly read informative books (and Herman Hesse), but here are some of Anne's favourite fictional books: The Dispossessed by Ursula Le Guin, Unbearable Lightness of Being by Kundera and off course The Little Prince!!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Azra: I've done ayahuasca with a Peruvian shaman at some point. That was a wildddd ride! If we meet I might tell you about it :)
Anne: Skiing of a mountain into the open air or spontaneously booking a flight to Las Palmas with a random fellow student while being bored during a lecture
