To be the change I wish to see in the world
ABOUT ME
So I am currently studying a semester abroad in Copenhagen and am attempting to see as much of Europe and its beautiful inhabitants as possible. I would describe myself as being easy going and fairly down to earth. Always up to hear a story or two and be swept into spontaneous colourful circumstances :)
Interests
I really enjoy meeting new people and being surrounded by new culture. I am drawn to hearing peoples stories, and dreaming of adventure. I love the natural world, and always find myself wondering where our world is heading. I enjoy documentaries, and good books, walking a scenic route and listening to a good beat or a nice sound.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Recently I did a few days on the island of Crete, on my travels I met a man who spent half his life in a Canadian town where my traveling partner was born and raised and quickly invited us into his home in a tiny village that sat on the top of a valley looking over the Mediterranean, he loaded us up with his home grown manderines and then invited us town to the villa he rented out at the bottom of the valley. We arrived at this huge stone home in which he had explained he had built himself, it was situated in a what appeared to be a 360 degree paradise of isolation. The winding mountains dived into the crystal blue sea line, and the only thing surrounding his home were acres and acres of olive farms. Not another building in site. It was the beautifulest sight I had ever seen. He offered us a place to stay for the next few days, showing us the local sites and taking us into his families home, even organizing a dinner to celebrate the new friends he had made. All the food was grown locally because it was to expensive for the closest homes to make it to the nearest towns. Everyone and everything was so lovely, like a dream, and definitely left me awestruck for sure.
Secondly, it is hard to pick another because there really has been so many, my first time in europe and being surrounded by all this history that my mind can still to this point not even grasp. There is nothing like that at home. The underground water chambers in istandbul were amazing, as was the palace garden and the scents and colours of all the flowers, I have never seen or smelt anything like it. It has all been so wonderful :) yah to new experiences the good and bad!
