About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To Earn and to Generate Positive Travel Karma

ABOUT ME

We are lovers of travel and fellow travelers. Zach does a little photography. Staci does a little writing. We both do a lot of having fun. We love meeting new people with like-minded, positive outlooks and open minds. We love learning about new cultures, foods, music, and people!

PHILOSOPHY

No matter how much you think you know, there is always more to learn! Keep an open mind. Be kind. Walk in someone else's shoes. Read a book. Go outside. Love.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We host, we surf, we try to answer questions about what we know and we try to learn about the stuff we don't.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We've had the pleasure of hosting a few travelers in our home. One of our favorites were two students traveling together - one guy from Brazil and one girl from Korea. They couldn't have been more different from each other and we from them but we had an amazing time together and keep in contact today.

Music, Movies, and Books

We devour all three - introduce us to something new! Foreign films or documentaries, your new favorite song, or your new favorite book - we want to hear about it!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Zach: Being invited into the cave/home of a Buddhist man in Tibet.

Staci: Just one?! Walking/climbing to Machu Picchu but NOT via the Inca Trail.

Teach, Learn, Share

Everybody knows how to do something, eh? Well, we can make homemade gnocchi. Zach can juggle - but only three balls. (If he could juggle four, we'd have him out on the street corner making some money. Maybe YOU can teach him how to juggle four?) Staci makes delicious pesto and wants to learn how to make delicious hummus. We are always interested in new languages and food. We also love pub crawling on our bicycles - we like to call it pub pedaling. Want to come?
