About Me
Kia ora!
Hello friend! I'm here to meet some new people while travelling to go on adventures and share stories and experiences with.
I'm born and raised in New Zealand and Japanese by blood, so I can speak fluent English and basic Japanese. Currently I'm on a journey around Asia, just going with the flow and seeing what things come my way, and it's taken me to places I never expected to go. I've met the best people and I'm super keen to make some more friends.
If you've got a place I could stay the night (or few nights) I'd be really grateful, or if you're just interested in having someone to go on an adventure with please hit me up, I look forwards to hearing from you!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Avoiding homelessness
Interests
My background is in aerial circus so I'm happy being upside down or climbing on top of things. Unfortunately I'm pretty average when I'm on the ground, so if you want me to do a backflip, I can't 😂
I LOVE the outdoors, stuff I can do outside naturally makes me happy!
I like to read and I play the cello also. While it's pretty rare to find a couchsurf host that has their own cello (😂 kudos if you do!) music is another thing that makes me super happy 😊

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Childish Gambino, Chet faker, Lana del Rey for long drives alone, Kanye before he was Kanye and Kim, Billy Joel is like summer drives and ice cream when I was a kid, Fast Car makes me cry always, music from the 70s and 80s is best for karaoke, pop/dance music hypes me up, cello or piano or chamber music to make me contemplate, as a child I loved opera, lately it's been Snoop dog, I'm easy, just no mumble rap, country music or scream
Books: autobiographies of interesting people and fiction that doesn't end with happy endings. I don't like romance genre stories. Love Winnie the pooh.
Movies: I'm uncultured.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm always down for a skill share sesh. I can speak and write some Japanese but I'm looking to improve, happy to get some practice or help someone with theirs if I can.
I can teach some general flexibility and conditioning, how to ride a motorbike, how to play the cello, how to sew.
Sharing book recommendations or music ✅
Sharing/learning/discussing about people's life problems 👌
