ABOUT ME

I am easily most at home while outside and I most enjoy outdoor recreation activities. I love to explore new places and meet different types of people, especially the ones that lend new perspective on life and the world. I live for the adventures that result from unexpected changes in circumstances.

I have swam in bio-luminescent lagoons in Puerto Rico, jumped off cliffs into the Colorado River, surfed on volcanic beaches in Costa Rica, hiked over mountain balds in North Carolina, kayaked in the Florida keys, traveled solo around Chile and Argentina, backpacked through snow and over mountains in Montana, celebrated New Years Eve in New York City, rappelled into caves in Georgia, rolled down sand dunes in Death Vally, biked around alligators' noses in the Everglades, listened to blues bands play in New Orleans, squeezed through slot canyons in Arizona, and climbed cliff faces in Zion National Park. I have been to 40 of the 50 states in the US, lived in 4 of them, and fully intend to visit the rest.

Intereses

I am generally up for trying any new activity, but here are some of my favorites: Rock climbing, hiking, vertical caving, canyoneering, sailing, kayaking, canoeing, pretty much anything outdoors, listening to live music (especially folk, bluegrass, Irish), art, meeting new people, traveling to new places
