About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Gathering information about earthships, finding soulmates for world domination

ABOUT ME

Puow... Something like greek grammar: active, passive, medium.

Active: I draw a lot, educate freshmans on design and try to do a lot of sports. Also i hang out with people most of the time, and i like manual labor ;) - furthermore i am recognized for beeing very industrious and enthusiastic once a matter fascinates me.

Passive: I like Design, Arts and Philosophy, so i read about it a lot and go to exhibitions once in a while. Because it fascinates me that lot it got an active part: i studied Design, Theology and Philosophy - weird combination I know ^^ Also i like to rest and just hang around - well, i used to sleep a lot, but due to my freelancing career as an illustrator the active part is growing bigger.

Medium: i like to communicate with others, hear and listen - but also tell a story and present something interesting.

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy is a mix out of epicureanism and kantanian-christian ideas. Despite that i would not call myself a hedonist, nor a straight catholic.

I give a lot about people and their ideas. This is fun but can also be exhausting. If you write me, mention the word desiderata in you email, so i know you care about meeting me and don't just write the same email to a bunch of people you actually don't care about. I won't respond if you did not.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I heard about the project from a friend. I thought it would be good to participate in the project, so that one day you can travel the whole world for a cheap price and meet a lot of new people and make new experiences. Because i think, that every experience you make and person you meet becomes part of your character and builds it. And i think, that every person in this world should get it for free.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My best friends were couch surfers and told me some really cool stories. Furthermore my couch was open to friends and people who needed some sleep before i got know to the cs-project.
I had hosted and surfed a little since i got to the project, before there was a little bit more. But i made only good experiences yet: being in an abandoned house or getting first hand informations of a work and traveller - every time a great thing..

Interests

Drawing, communicating, sports, meditating, dancing, climbing, hiking, diving, organising, acting, playing the ukulele, the guitar and the piano, repairing bycicles and other technical stuff, building houses, tree planting, personal evolvement.

Music, Movies, and Books

Still working on a list.. but at this moment i would call "into the wild" my favorit movie.
Music: the Kalkbrenners, Edvard Grieg, Phoenix, Daft Punk, Aphex Twin, Chopin, Bach, Beck, Kraftclub, Kollektiv Turmstraße ... mostly electrostuff i guess.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My trip to sweden with a friend of mine.
We were hiking for ten days in Jämtland. The Helagsglacier was one of the most awe-inspiring things i've ever seen. Maybe because of the fact i was walking trough its inner core ;)
five years ago i worked as a cherry picker in canada. I thought that would be an even greater experience than just hiking and it was: the best people there, accepting me just for who i am and i think i had a lot of luck and also happiness in those two months working there.

Teach, Learn, Share

I could teach you the basics of design or basics of drawing, when you let me know the basic laws of physics.. i have forget them since school is over, because i do not use them anymore. But i think its interesting anyway.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Towels, Matress, Meals.

Since i started to improve my freelancing career i do not have soooo much time to just hang around. But feel free to join my social activities.
