Make the world a better place by living with integrity and with creativity. Work hard, play hard. I am on a spiritual journey and I like Mother Teresa's saying "We can't all do great things, but we can all do small things with great love."

ABOUT ME

I love children, having raised 4 on my own, nature, animals, the arts and travel (gave my kids wings to fly and have delighted in seeing their growth). I love and foster dogs and or cats until they are adopted out, currently no fosters, just our dog Mishka, a black, very vocal husky/belgian sheep dog. Getting together with friends, meditating, yoga, gardening, music, and fresh produce at a farmers market are all appealing to me.

PHILOSOPHY

Be the best that you can be! I believe that we have all been born into this planet in search of our life path mission. Do what you enjoy doing and learn to follow your heart, develope your sixth sense and then make it your first one; Listen and trust your intuition, develope your psyche.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have surfed, but more so hosted. It has been a lot of fun to meet people from different places. It is one way that I can contribute to a global community.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted more than I have couch surfed. Both have had their rewards. A favorite experience for my daughter and I while we were being hosted in Vancouver, was when we shared two meals and conversations with our two hosts. While I was a host, a cherished experience was sharing an afternoon taking a couch surfer to The Muttart Conservatory where we viewed and took pictures of beautiful flowers, trees and plants from around the world.

Interests

Gardening, arts, singing, dance, spirituality, music, travel, nature, camping, reading, and furthering my education, elevating my lifestyle. Gathering with friends, attending Reiki Circles and creating clean and artistic living space.

Music, Movies, and Books

Mutant Message Down Under, The Alchemist. I really like Louise Hay and Doreen Virtues stuff and had read Divine Magic (similar to The Secret). Other then the above personal life issue type stuff, I really enjoy a good laugh and or cry with movies like Pretty Women, My Big Fat Greek Wedding, Jane Austins' Pride and Prejudice, Juno, Little Miss Sunshine and Slumdog Millionaire.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

WHAT I HAVE DONE
I have laid to rest and left behind a lifestyle that consisted of status, money and power. In its place I have become a healer, learned proper use of freedom and have developed a passion for the arts. I have left the hierarchy assembly of a church and have developed inner wisdom and peace; my own spirituality. Most importantly, I have given four children wings to fly!

WHAT I HAVE SEEN
I have flown over the Grand Canyon where I saw magnificent colors and wild horses running free.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach soap stone, soap making and Indian Cooking. These are some examples of practical, hands-on learning that may or may not happen. I can also assist with what to see and do in Edmonton, directions etc. I have a knowlegde base on occult wisdom; tarot and numerology.

"Be the change you wish to see in others, by Mahatma Gandhi." My journey has been a very spiritual one, so any spiritual based conversations would flow smoothly. I trust that my desires are being manifested through the universe and I agree that there is always exchanges happening, that we are energy.

Through couch surfing, I enjoy learning about the different lands, foods and customs that exist.
