I am curious about many things and enjoy learning through experience. I'm happy to sit back, talk and appreciate the everyday whilst equally pleased to be in less familiar, uncomfortable situations.

I use exploration as a way to break down barriers between myself and my surroundings, other people and those that govern us. I'm really interested in how others live and spend their time, so much so that I make films related to it.

Interests

I love to watch films, listen to music and people, learn about History, Politics, look at photographs, read books, eat, drink and cook, visit museums, galleries and experience art. I'm continually developing an interest in the outdoors and natural world, how we are having an impact on it and between ourselves. I explore as much as possible with my feet and eyes, trying to immerse myself in my surroundings. I exercise when I can by running, swimming, playing football, skiing, whatever is nearest. Recently started Slacklining. I love to socialise with food, drink, wandering and everything in between.

Every piece of art has an effect. I like films by Patrick Keiller, Chris Marker, William Raban, Pat Collins, Jacques Tati, Andrei Tarkovsky, Stanley Kubrick, Quentin Tarantino, Werner Herzog, David Lynch to name a few.
