About Me
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am in a really fortunate situation: in the middle of the London housing crisis, I have a living room and an extra double mattress. This also triggered some unforeseen events and meetings with strangers that became part of the life I find rewarding and exciting in London. I have hosted many strangers, acquaintances and friends—now I just want to make our living room open to more people.
Interests
If you love to stay outdoors, listen to good music, read (looking at my bookshelves: mostly about literary theory, dystopian literature, experimental fictions, booker bestsellers, contemporary Hungarian fiction, piles of The New Yorker), have a great coffee and conversation, play murder mysteries and fun board games (Pandemic, Mysterium, Mascarade), interested in the stories of others, than we share an interest!

Music, Movies, and Books
I do not have a very articulated taste in music (that means it changes every week), right now I find great joy in Ben. E. King, Ella Fitzgerald, Pink Martini, a-ha, Katzenjammer, David Bowie, Vampire Weekend, Florence and the Machine.
I enjoy Wes Anderson's movies, kitsch 90s movies, every single film of Istvan Szabó, fun documentaries (Stories We Tell) and I am always ready to watch something new.
Books are my hobby and my professional interest as well, so it is not easy to choose a few titles. The last book I read (was a book on narratology) was a Margaret Atwood's Cat's Eye, I liked it a lot.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I moved out of my comfort zone when I decided to climb a cliff that was to high for my taste. It happened when I was 7. Since then everything amazing is the multiplication of that decision, including dancing classes, getting a diving licence and moving to London with a two week plan.
