Chi sono
CURRENT MISSION
Just returned home from a year of travel. Is it too soon to leave again?
ABOUT ME
LOVE meeting new people and making new friends. Experiencing different cultures and seeing other points of view. St. Augustine said (I think) that life is a book and those who never travel only read one page. I want to read that book cover to cover!
PHILOSOPHY
I've done a lot of thinking recently. Here's a little of what I've come up with:
1. At the end of life, nobody ever wishes they'd watched more TV. So I sold my TV :)
2.At the end of life, most people don't wish they'd worked longer hours at a job they didn't love. So I quit the job I didn't love and became my own boss :)
3.At the end of life, most people don't wish they'd spent less time traveling the world and seeing new places and meeting new people. So I decided to take a year off and travel the world and see new places and meet new people :)
The common theme: When my time here is finished, I don't want to look back on my experience with regret for the way I lived my one and only life on this Earth. This is no dress rehearsal!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I hosted 5 people when I lived in the states. Kind of a "pay it forward" type of thing. Every single experience was great! I loved opening my house up to people and meeting new friends. Now, I have started a one-year, round-the-world trip and will look for interesting, real, thoughtful people to connect with while I am on the road. I can't wait to meet all the people I will encounter along the way!!!

Insegna, impara, condividi
I can help you with your English (if you want). Maybe I can help you appreciate your own city from a fresh, new perspective- from the eyes of someone who is experiencing it for the first time. That is always one of my favorite things when I host.
