About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Meet different people from all over the world.

ABOUT ME

Well... I am not very good at describing myself. I think humorous, polite, and friendly would be the best adjectives to portray me.

I'm doing my national service and teaching at a primary
school in New Taipei City. From the place I live, school dorm, to downtown Taipei will approximately take an hour(one-way). If you enjoy fresh air and mountainous place to stay, my place would worth your visit!

Love to meet new people, new things, and enjoy delicious food and drinks!

PHILOSOPHY

一期一会! This is an old Japanese saying remind us to cherish the people who we meet in our life, even though some people you might not like

Today is the first day of the rest of your life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My friend had told me there is an interesting and economical way to visit the world. So I started my first CS trip with him in 2011 and found tons of fun.

I have hosted a few people here in Taipei, and have been a surfer twice!

Interests

Well, too many. It might be from economics, politics, music, culture, history, language to many aspects of life; all in all, the things that can inspire me.

  • culture
  • dining
  • drinking
  • politics
  • music
  • economics
  • history

Music, Movies, and Books

Too many, just ask me if we got the chance to meet.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I believe I have seen some of most wondrous scenes in the world as I have been to many different countries and been myself in some of greatest natural scenes when I was small.
Living in Taipei, Taiwan, a relatively closed society for 20 years, however, I think the most amazing thing I have ever seen is in Taiwan. When 311, devastating earthquake, broke out in Japan. I saw lots of our Taiwanese people praying for Japanese people and making donation of a large part of their salary to Japan. Some even took a few weeks off from their work to go to Japan for helping Japanese people rebuild their hometown. For me, I am lucky to be born in a country with lovely people around!

Teach, Learn, Share

Well, I believe every person has their own story to tell others. No matter where you are, what you do. You must have something distinct from others that can share with us. So... just spill it out !!
