Things I like: Playing and teaching music, performing a good cover song, quirky friends, seeing those moments when I help someone learn something that they thought they couldn't understand, sarcasm, a good book with good booze,a good movie with good booze, good things that go well with good booze, my sleeping bag, running with my Gogol Bordello playlist, bluegrass harmonizing vocals, talking about childhood obsessions in an adult way (talking about how the x men comics were based off the civil rights movement), discussing all things Africa, and more.

PHILOSOPHY

I live my life to live my life. There are people you know who just exist and then there are people who "live". I would like to be the latter.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have only couchsurfed in Asheville, Knoxville, and Chattanooga before but all of those moments were great experiences that I wouldn't change for anything.

I think my experience of busking in the southeast of the US for about a month was pretty exciting. Ask me about it when I see you.

If you invite my girlfriend and I over we can teach you a bit about west african drumming. Also we have plenty of stories from the times we worked with youth with emotional/behavioral issues. Actually our story of how we started dating is pretty interesting to most people who hear it.
