Hi, I'm Anwar!

I find myself to be an open soul continuously on the search for personal growth, empowerment, and knowledge. I feel that knowledge is power, and the way that I grow is by traveling, connecting with people from different cultures from around the world, and being whimsical and spontaneous.

Having not traveling in over 8 years, I've been reconnected to my love of foreign places, people, and food. I am a very open, spiritual person that enjoys the connections that are made between new people both locals and travelers. My mind is intrigued by the beauty this world has to offer from all the different people that I meet and the places that I see.

I am a big foodie, I enjoy dishes from hole in the wall joints, to fine dining. Nature and history are a big plus.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've had an account before back in 2010, but I never used it. After meeting a fellow friend in Costa Rica in the fall of 2015, He shared with me the experiences he has had on the site so I decided to give it a try.

I took a spontaneous trip to London, and found myself now in Sweden. I am planning on working my way through Europe, so I am open to seeing who I will meet along the way.
