Hi, I’m Babak!

Originally from Iran, I moved to the US in 2014 for graduate school and now live in Seattle. I’m passionate about cooking and baking, especially Italian and Iranian cuisine, with a focus on Neapolitan pizza and sourdough bread. My pizza journey began in 2021, and I love experimenting with new recipes and sharing my creations with others, even teaching others how to make it! I host pizza events and am always in search of the perfect dough.

I’ve traveled across many states in the U.S., visited multiple national parks, and explored a few countries around the world. I enjoy hiking and camping, and I’m always curious to learn more about other cultures, especially through their food. While I’m not the best at starting conversations, I really enjoy listening to people’s stories and can keep the conversation going once it’s started. When I’m not coding or making pizza, I’m probably out staying active, hiking, or camping (when my body lets me!). I value an atmosphere of growth and learning, whether it’s through food, fitness, or new experiences.
