About Me
CURRENT MISSION
no real mission other than to live in the moment....
ABOUT ME
Traveling and learning languages.... that's how I've spent the past 16 years. Mostly I like to see how people live in other places, what they eat, how they spend their time with their friends, what their opinions are of the world. I'm the sort of traveler that likes to stay put. I want to really get to know the place I'm visiting, not just its museums and monuments, that means staying for a while. I want to eat in the hidden cafes, watch musicians in the parks, know the public transportation system as if I were in my hometown, feel like I'm moving along with the rhythm of the place. I doubt I'll ever stop traveling, but whenever I get to a new city, I always hope I'll stay long enough to consider making it my new home.
I also love outdoor adventures as long as it's not too cold. Camping, biking, riding, hiking... silence and majesty. These are the trips that re-energize me. Sort of like therapy.
PHILOSOPHY
Still so much to learn.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
meeting for coffee, showing someone the town, offering my couch... whatever, I'm always interested in meeting new people.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Great stories from those who've stayed with me. If I didn't have to work, I'd just have a revolving door of couchsurfers coming through.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Petra (Jordan), the Grand Canyon (USA), the Tetons in Wyoming (USA), the Dolomites (Italy), the Red Sea (Egypt), and Iguazu Falls (Argentina) are the most beautiful places, in terms of nature, that I've visited. Egypt is the most intriguing and where I learned the most about myself.
Teach, Learn, Share
A couchsurfer who had spent over a year traveling around the world told me that he started his trip with the goal of seeing the world, but realized he learned as much about himself as he did about the world. That's what I love about travel!
