About Me

Three words to describe the way I live and travel: CONNECT-CREATE-SHARE.

I love CONNECTing with the unknown people, the foreigner, the wanderer, the traveller, that will always surprise me and give new perspectives about how life can be lived.
The energy of creation that drives me is what makes me feel fulfilled in life, nonetheless collaborating and CREATEing with others takes this fulfillment to a deeper level. I overcome my ego and a bring myself closer to the other's culture, way of thinking, religion, spirituality... to the diversity of humankind.
Life is short and every moment you live deserves to be SHAREd. Happiness quite unshared can scarcely be called happiness; it has no taste.... :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would like to present and invite you to participate in a documentary called: “The Musical Threads of the Silk Road”, that I am working on.

The purpose of this project is to explore the traditional string instruments found on the Silk Road and to document how their rich cultural heritage is carried in the contemporary world. I am looking to collaborate with local musicians and masters to:
♣ Interview them for the documentary
♣ Collaborate in the composition of a musical piece with the Middle-Eastern Oud instrument that I play (and travel with)

We will be more than happy if you could assist us to find accommodation or just to have a chat or to help us to find those hidden masters/teachers! :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Meeting a Kora (african harp) player in Mali and creating a song without being able to communicate verbally.
Music has no language!
