CURRENT MISSION

I just bought my own appartment but it will not be available until April 2019 (works to do on it) so I can't host anyone right now. But soon I will :-D

I am working on a very personal project (not a new job) which combine several passions : meeting people, traveling and human development.

It is called "The Story Gatherer" or "Le Glaneur d'Histoires" (in French).

What is it about ?

I interview people about their stories and specifically the "lessons" of their stories.

So now during my trips I like doing interviews but do not worry this is not an obligation ;-) for my host or my guest.

ABOUT ME

I have a degree in computer sciences and I am working for IT laboratory.

Otherwise, I can say that I am very active guy !
I like talking and sharing stories, opinions, activities !
Traveling helped me to developp my mind and my tolerance about my own life.

PHILOSOPHY

I like this small story that you can find in "Eat, Pray, Love" :
A poor man goes to church every day and prays before the statue of a great saint, begging, "Dear saint-please, please, please...give me the grace to win the lottery." This lament goes on for months. Finally the exasperated staue comes to life, looks down at the begging man and says in weary disgust, "My son-please, please, please...buy a ticket."

For me, that means be actor of life not spectator !

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I like discovering beautiful places and landscapes !! Ok that's true !
But not also ! I like meeting new people and sharing different moments , differents ideas.
That for me the difference between traveler and tourist !!

I guess my own culture, knowledge and personality has been improved by the others, by the conversation that we shared !
So I hope to have occasions to meet you even that's not for too long :).

I had a couch once in 2013 in Canada and it was a good experience ! And also in 2015 in USA (Miami, DC) during a trip for my brother's birthday

I like every kind of music but it depends on the context : is it for dancing ? For listening ? For thinking ?!

I like all kind of movies but it depends on my way of thinking or feeling at the present moment !!

Same for the books !

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have seen a bear during a hike in the Mauricie National Park (Canada). Even we did not talk so much, it was a pleasure to meet her/him !! ;-)

I did a hike alone on the Great Wall during 8 hours (Chine).

I have met people all around the world and some of them, just a couple of hours. But we are still in touch and still friends :D

Teach, Learn, Share

Spending time with people, sharing moments, talking is a mutual teaching !!

What I Can Share with Hosts

We can cook together a french meal.
I can teach some basic step of dance (couple dance), I acted theater for 12 years as a hobby and I know a lot of funny games or roleplay in order to have fun !
