I would consider myself to be pretty laidback. I'm a calm person with a 'go with the flow' mentality.

I have accepted many guests via couchsurfing, and most of them were good experiences. I always found you can experience culture best by staying with locals. The people I've met were always welcoming and generous, so I would like to return the favor.

The concept is really nice! It is a good way to get in touch with people from all over the world.

A thing I hear often is that when people are abroad they visit everything that place has to offer, however they rarely go out sightseeing or visiting museums in their own country. Which for me is a reason to be enthusiastic about meeting visitors every once in a while.

On the other side I love experiencing a place and culture the way locals do, so I always enjoy meeting up or staying with people who actually live there.
