ABOUT ME

Well, I'm a very happy person, usually talk too much even if, sometimes, I can be shy when I just meet someone new. I like learning about other people, cultures and country, so I ask many questions about it. I'm also interested on the history and politics subjects of other countries.
I like helping other people, sometimes someone write me an email asking a simple question, then I reply a huge one, full of informations (that I consider to be important) or a book guide I make by myself. We don't find many people in this world who care taking a time of their life to help others, that's why I loved this couchsurfing idea. It fits a lot with my personality, I like showing my country and my city around. If I have the chance, I take my car and go with you guys to visit places close to where I live, who knows? We can go together to other cities, maybe camping? Maybe sailing? Whatever...I'm new here what is a big pitty. If I knew about couchsurfing before, the 2 years I was living in Spain would have been much more interesting, visiting interesting places, meeting great people and, why not, making real friends.

PHILOSOPHY

I don't know if I have one. I think we don't came to this world to live an ordinary life, so we have to think what we wanna do with it. I also believe we don't have the right to hurt anybody, so we all should be careful with what we do to our "brothers". That's it, I just try to help people, be honest, always tell the truth, and be a good person.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As I said, I'm a new member, I'm not sure how I'll participate. Now I'm in England for a month and a half and would like to travel and meet people, but also wish I can help you guys who are interested on going to visit me in Brazil.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't yet, but I worked to AFS as volunteer helping students to come to brazil or going from Brazil to other countries and it was a good experience, to teach and learn with them. I had a germany girl in my house for a year, she was very cute. I wish we could keep more in touch, so I'm sure that in about 1000 people I can meet here, just a few will keep in touch and maybe become friends, but it still worths, for them, and for we learn.

Interests

I grew up on the beach, my flat(well, my parents flat) is just 200m from the beach, from where we have a nice view. So I can say I love going to the beach, love anything relative to this, like surf, kitesurf, wakeboard etc. I enjoy simple things of life, sit in the balcony, drink a beer and watch the sea.
I like music, I like driking, prefer to go to bars, sit, drink and talk with friends than to go to clubs (what I still do sometimes when I'm traveling).
I like traveling a lot, meeting new people (when they are interesting), hate wasting time with vain and empty people.
I love arts and of course, architecture, what is my job.
I said before I'm also interested about politics subjects. And I like hearing other people's point of view about all kind of subjects, this always makes me learn a lot about life, and humanbeings.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like european films, documentaries, and watch the news.
Music??? All kind, I'm very ecletic, but I still think brazilian music is the best in this world, sorry. :-D
I also like rock very much, since 50's, 70's, 80's, the classicals, the "heavy" like metallica, the punk, the alternative, all kind, really.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

that I've seen: coliseum almost made me cry, I'm not sure why.
I've done: some crazy things I can't tell you here. :-D
But I really enjoyed the "EA's" - architecture student meetings. Many of the people I met are still great friends, probably forever.
