ABOUT ME

After years dreaming about it, I recently started to travel and I hope to spend my life exploring as many places as I can !
I spent my childhood between the West Indies and the South of France, which is probably why I love food and sun so much :) I've been obsessed with black culture since I was a child, especially when it comes to litterature and music. I think books are the most incredible thing in the world. I'm sometimes a little bit too lazy but I do my best to get over it !

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I mainly host for now, and I love to ! I hope I can experience the surfing part soon. I love enjoying every new place a bit as a local would, and i guess there's no better way than couchsurfing to do that :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My boyfriend and I hosted a few times since we've moved to Montréal and everything went very well, so I hope the experiences to come will be just as good.

Interests

Literature, Food, Travel, Cinema, Music, History, Politics... Most of all : People. I love listening to people talk about their passions, their philosophies and their cultures. Ahd my favorite hobby may be to sometimes just stay up all night talking on a couch with old or new friends.

Music : If I will always be in love with rhythm'n'blues, soul, funk and hip-hop, I can pretty much listen to anything (even some pretty shameful stuff sometimes).
Books : I read a lot of different stuff but some of my favorite authors are Albert Camus, Victor Hugo, Amélie Nothomb, Baudelaire, Percival Everett, Elise Costa, Wajdi Mouawad, Simone Schwarz-Bart...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Looking at the view from the Citadel in Cairo and hearing all of the calls to prayer from every mosques in the city rise into the air at the same time.
