About Me

CURRENT MISSION
Travel the world
ABOUT ME

The taste for traveling it's in my blood! I think the best gift my parents could have given me was the opportunity to travel since I was very small due to their work as aeronauts.

I was raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and during the 90's I moved to the United States(LA) with my mom, where I lived for almost 3 years. There I began to have contact with many different cultures.

Back to Brazil, during a long time I was able to take advantage of the free airline tickets (thanks to mom and dad's profession, again) and traveled a lot, but always for short periods due to commitments with school, college (graduated as a journalist) and then work.

In 2012, I left a job and decided I was not ready to look for a similar one yet (or ever again). I wanted to have more free time, and to be able to visit places I've always dreamed of visiting, as well as finding pleasure linked to work. So I became a "digital nomad". Along with my husband, who is a video maker and graphic designer, we created the project "Life's Best Moments", which is an independent TV and Web series and website that follows our journey through many countries, focusing on our joys and difficulties and addressing issues such as culture, sustainability and living simply close to nature. Here is our website: http://melhoresmomentosdavida.com/

We sold everything we had in Brazil and we set off to New Zealand for the first season of our project. To sum up, we bought a campervan and traveled this amazing country for about 1 year and 7 months, while having many different types of work experiences along the way, apart from shooting our TV & web series, and writing on our blog.

We worked for a while picking flowers, selling cherries, as hostel managers, and making websites and videos or companies. It was fun, but difficult at sometimes, as we were always relying on finding different jobs at different cities in order to finance our lifestyle, and this was rather stressful and energy consuming. Until we came up with the idea of starting an itinerant Video Production company specializing in Promotional Videos for hotels. We were already doing that, and people were loving our videos, so why not start making money with that?

To cut a long story short, the idea was successful, and today we travel from one country to another making Promotional Videos for hotels. Although it may sound like a dream job to many, I confess it has not always been easy! We are not on holiday but living and working while on the road, which requires constant planing, and a lot of discipline. But it has been a lot of fun and very rewarding!

And then, time came for new adventures... And we headed off to Thailand with the purpose to shoot season 2 in Southeast Asia. By the way, we managed to sell out TV series to a Brazilian TV station, and we are currently editing the 13 episodes about New Zealand which will air in November. Our plans for next year is to travel in Southeast Asia and Australia.

If we are able to make new friends and exchange experiences with awesome people along the way this will be a HUGE bonus.
