ABOUT ME

I am a musician in a rock band (www.soundcloud.com/slowglass) I also play solo acoustic guitar and sing. I work as a gardener and run an ebay shop selling old skool video games. I enjoy humour greatly and like to have a laugh.

PHILOSOPHY

I will never work doing something that makes other people suffer. I have my own set of morals and philosophies which are sometimes contary to the normal. I would say I am left wing, and somewhat of a socialist at heart. I am very interested in social change and would love to see a move away from our money driven, greedy and hedonistic society. Thats not so say I dont enjoy certain parts of it, but I am just not into 'getting rich and getting a bigger car than my neighbour' like most of the London populace. If you are interested just ask.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been to several meetings, Berlin & Budapest Winter Camps and hosted several times, although I no longer host!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted at least 10 times and most of that has been positive. I have now learned a bit more about the types of people who do this and I am now only really interested in hosting those who come to share my world a little rather than people who are more expecting a 'hostel'. That is not to say I expect the people I host to spend all their visit with me, but if you want to spend the entire days and evenings doing your own thing then Im not for you. I would prefer people who like to have a laugh, and hopefully a drink too.

I enjoy films, reading, meeting new people, music (rock/alternative/jazz/classical and lots more) and I love sports, food and cooking. I like drinking and going out, but I dont smoke! I love comedy programs and could introduce you to the best british humour.

I can teach you a few chords on the guitar, or share my knowledge of the things i am knowledgable about like history, football, music, British humour....! I like to learn about the history of other people's countries and cultures, if you know what you are talking about I am all ears, whatever the subject. Anything is interesting if told by someone knowledgeable.
