About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Trying to visit all seven continents one ticket at a time.

ABOUT ME

Just graduating from University, I've moved to the Basque Country in Spain to teach English for the year. Currently I also have a goal to visit all seven continents. To left, can you guess which ones they are?

When I was in University, I studied Anthropology and Sociology. I also studied art, focusing on Studio and Digital Art. I love meeting new people, traveling to new places, and experiencing where ever I'm visiting.

PHILOSOPHY

Follow your gut, and do what makes you happy. Life is too short to be stuck in a job you dislike, or around people you feel anxious about. Life is about always being a student a learning something new, while being respectful to the things you disagree with.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Really what I'd like to do is meet people in the area which I'm traveling. I'm a pretty independent person, so if you (the host) is at work all day- that's completely not a problem.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Honestly I haven't done much couch surfing before. A friend of mine hosted people at her place in Rome, and I was able to meet a bunch of CS people there. My goal while living in Europe this next year is to visit a different country every month without spending a lot of money.

Interests

Running, art, design, travel, reading, going out to bars/clubs, meeting new people. I'm open to trying pretty much anything.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was 12, I traveled with my family to the Antarctic. We spent a month there learning about glaciers, and the ecosystem. One night we even camped out on the Antarctic ice shelf.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach: How to knit a scarf, some basic Swahili phrases, how to cook a really good grilled cheese sandwich, photography knowledge, how to make a friendship bracelet, how to make pasta from scratch, how to open a beer without a bottle opener.

I can share all of my knowledge, just ask me bout anything on my profile.
