FULL TIME DAYDREAMER!!

hi! i'm bárbara but everybody calls me babs. i'm a 22 years old happy kido who loves to travel and to meet new people and different cultures.
i was born and raised in madeira island, but 4 years ago i moved to lisbon, where i studied audiovisual and multimedia. currently, i'm living in the netherlands to do my masters in content and media strategy!
my biggest dream in life is really just to be happy and i'm lucky enough to say that i already am!!

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

when i travel, my biggest interest is not visiting the most famous museums or seeing the historical monuments, but to experience the life of a local during my stay. so i believe the best way to meet a city and learn about the county's culture is by getting to know the locals. i also think that the whole concept and idea of couchsurfing, sharing experiences, stories, cultures and house is just amazing.

also, i recently came back from my erasmus semester in tallinn, where i had the happiest months of my life, met some of my favourite people in the world and lived the best experiences so far! i also travelled a lot and grew in so many aspects, that completely changed my way of seeing life and, of course, the way i want to live it!

my dad is a jazz critic and jazz history teacher and he organizes music festivals, so i grew up with music playing 24/7 at my house and i'm aaalways listening to it. my mum is a therapist obsessed with cinema, so since i was a kid she had been showing me the best and the worts movies, passing her passion to me. so here's a list of some of my favourite bands and movies:
