Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have lots of friends who are CSers and somehow always end up hosting them and their visitors for dinner or something.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

have hosted CSers who were visiting my friends and swung by through town. Funny thing, a few years ago while in the Western Cape, I persuaded a stranger I met at lunch into trying CS'ing even though I was not a member at the time. The CSers I have met have been good folks.

Interests

Outdoors - hike, climb, camp, fish, sail or anything that combines mountains and the sea. Traveling to the same and meeting interesting folks along the way.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

* Gaped in utter wonder at a sea of wildebeest swamming over the plains.
* Forgot to breath while school upon school of fish ignored me.
* Schlepped up a few tall snowy rocks and hills everywhere I could. Slid, skied or tumbled down lots more.
* Watched the sun set over African plains.
