About Me
After teaching in Seattle for 8 years, I quit my job, sold all my things, and packed a bag to travel the world. I financed my trip by refurbishing a racing row boat I found abandoned near my apartment. Backpacking my way across Cuba, Europe, and the Americas.
I want to meet all types of new people, do all types of new things. I love food and I’m most excited about exploring the cuisine of different cultures in my travels. Hopefully we can cook for one another! Agriculture is a big part of my life as well and hopefully I will get to do some WWOOFing and farming.
I love going out and enjoying night life of all kinds, I’m gay and also love to go to gay bars, but this hardly sums me up!
In Seattle I taught east African immigrant 3-5 year old preschoolers. I make music and videos for children about nutrition and gardening, you can hear my music at squashohmygosh.com.
I love travel and am so excited to begin this extended adventure.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've had the best experiences couchsurfing and count the friends I've made among the best in my life. I like to hang with my hosts and cook food, go to events, travel, play games, and share life together for a bit. I'm hoping to some day be able to host.
I have surfed all over Spain, Canada, Costa Rica, Belize and the United States using this app and also good old word of mouth.
