About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Let's do something out of the ordinary, let's do it good and do it now. Doors are open for us to storm them all without a care of what's inside... (Friska Viljor)

ABOUT ME

Well, I'd say, I'm a open-minded and good-humored person. I love travelling and discovering the world (oh my god - there are so many places I haven't seen yet. I'll be busy the next 50 years). I really like to get to know new people from all over the world and share experiences with them. Travelling is a book and those who do not travel, read only one page - that's the best way to describe my passion (and yes, I like reading as well)

PHILOSOPHY

Life is far too important a thing ever to talk seriously about it (Oscar Wilde)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed in France, Spain, the US, Canada, Israel, Jordan and in Iran and I always had such a great time! I would do it again and again and again...

Interests

My greatest passion - surprise, surprise - is travelling . This is where I spend most of my money on and what keeps me busy most of the time. When I'm back home, I try to spend as much time as possible in the mountains (hiking, biking, skiing). Besides I really enjoy reading a good book (or two or three) and listen to music (and going to music festivals as well)

Music, Movies, and Books

I read tons and tons of books. To decide which one of them is my favourite one is just not possible. I love books which make me laugh or cry or from which I can learn a lot. Anyway, at the moment I grab every book I can find about the Middle East.

Music is actually a big part of my life, but it really depends on my mood to which genre I listen to. Indie/Alternative is an all-time favourite though. I'm always up to new stuff. So if you know something good, let me know :-)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Amazing roadtrip through the States and Canada
- Camping at Lake Garibaldi in British Columbia
- Travelling through Vietnam and Cambodia
- Travelling through Iran and getting in touch with the Iranians is definitiv one of the best experience in my life

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'd love to share my travelling stories - but I'm expecting good stories in return :-) Anyway, talking about what happens in this crazy world in order to see other people's opinion is always a good idea. And yes, sharing music is on of my favourite things
