About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To see and to speak, to listen and to learn.

ABOUT ME

In a nutshell, I'm an old soul with a young heart.
Questions mean far more to me than answers, and I tend to take things at face value. I'm a big believer in the beauty of simplicity, and am easily enamored with places, and travel. I value courtesy above most everything else. I love all types of music, and dancing. I like to have a good time, and enjoy people who enjoy themselves.

PHILOSOPHY

All we know is that we know nothing. Socrates.

Music, Movies, and Books

I genuinely love all music, and listen to a ridiculously varied range.
As far as books, the most personally influential has been a collection of plays by Sartre, most specifically Dirty Hands.
I have a huge intellectual crush on Shakespeare and have read nearly everything he's written.
I have a tendency to devote a lot of my movie watching time to terribly made low budget horror films. Also Monty Python.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I am amazed every morning that I continue to live.

Teach, Learn, Share

The only way to be happy in this lifetime is to come to terms with who you are. It's a selfish philosophy, but you're the only one who will take care of you, and if you can't do that, no one else will. It doesn't mean people are bad or inconsiderate, but we're all lost in our minds. It's not wrong to take care of yourself. If everyone took care of themselves, at that point we could move forward towards consideration of others. This is not to say that you should disregard the problems of others, but that you must know thyself. Know thyself.
