To make the most of life!
ABOUT ME
I'm all about new experiences, and stretching myself out from what I have done before. Travel is the ultimate chance to do this, and I keep my backpack on the ready for the next chance to jump into the next adventure. I'm finishing up medical school at the University of Wisconsin, but I love talking about pretty much anything under the sun. I make a point to ensure everyone's having a great time, and if you're ever in Madison, I will be sure to show you what makes this city so terrific.
PHILOSOPHY
I believe in doing. I like being active and not looking back. There is so much to understand and grow from that I just want to continue the journey. It is so exhilirating!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I definitely would welcome the chance to meet up with a Couchsurfer going through the area. There's some great little coffeeshops around State Street. The nightlife is terrific, and the bars around the Capitol will be sure to entertain even the most discerning person.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I was staying in a hostel in Brussels, Belgium when I heard about an art show party happening right next door. I had to stop in. I was mixing with the crowd when I randomly started chatting with a Brussels native. It happened he was a Couchsurfer meeting other Couchsurfers that night. I met people from South Africa, England, and all over. It was spectacular. I knew then that this was something special. And that I had to be a part of it!
Interests
I can't stay away too long from the gym or my mind feels like it'll burst. I'm totally into salsa dancing, and can dive into a good reggaeton mix. Madison has a great bar scene and I enjoy hanging out with my friends on the weekends. I could totally eat up a long book with dense characterizations, especially the kind that suck you in - ranging from Da Vinci Code to the Brothers Karamazov. And I like being an experimental chef. What you may ask is that? Well, I like trying to make something delicious with ingredients at my disposal. Nothing fancy, but the basics - some basil, garlic, and pepper go a long way.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm a foreign film fan as well as into classic dramas. Throw in some action flicks to eat popcorn to, and I'm set for the night. Movies that pop up in a second are Cinema Paradiso, Godfather, Doctor Zhivago, and definitely anything by Truffaut.
Music that I can't stop listening to include Juanes 'Me Enamora', OAR 'Shattered', Kanye's 'Hey Mama', Chris Brown's 'Forever'.
'Love in the Time of Cholera' is an all-time favorite. I read it when I was working in Mexico City and could not put it down. People say the movie was horrible, but anything with a story line this great is a winner for me.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Seeing the Eiffel Tower at night as it's glowing in the darkness. If that doesn't stir amazement, nothing will ;)
Teach, Learn, Share
Did you know that a puggle is a cross between a pug and a beagle?! Amazing!
Seriously though, I love literature and languages. I can teach basic Telugu, French, and intermediate Spanish. I also Salsa and can teach the basic steps. I am trained in medicine and so for lay questions I would be happy to share my two cents.
