About Me
CURRENT MISSION
My mission is to have a mission, I think... No. There's more. I hope to never ever have a "job" again, and to somehow spend the rest of my life creating and performing and hopefully leave some sort of mark on the world, or at least the people I meet.
ABOUT ME
I'm "that nerd." You know, the one that edited the school paper and obsessively shops for used records. A wannabe philosopher with a bad habit of playing in rock bands and writing plays. Yeah, that one. My hair has a life of its own and is often taunted by carnies in some sort of backwards attempt to get me to try to win a stuffed animal. I'm honest to a fault, and can relate almost anything in life to an episode of Star Trek. I like long walks on the beach and romantic candlelit dinners, but I also know plenty about pro wrestling. I like to think that means I'm well rounded, but most people just use the term weird.
PHILOSOPHY
If you're going to go down; go down in flames.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My friend Jackie and I stayed with people from the site while we backpacked through Europe. Before that, I've been playing in rock bands for ten years, which leads to a great many couches propping up my fat ass, and I'm not entirely sure how I ended up on all of them.
Interests

Music, Movies, and Books
Films: Gattaca, Donnie Darko, The Zero Effect, Highway 61, Confessions of a Dangerous Mind, UHF, I Heart Huckabees, The Naked Gun, Apocalypse Now, The Aristocrats.
Books: Bradley Denton, Anything by Vonnegut, Tom Robbins, Douglas Adams, Ayn Rand, and I love the comics of Kurt Busiek, Frank Miller, and Alan Moore.
Music: I have well over 600 cds, 100 albums, and who knows how many mp3s, so when I say that my some of my faves are Oingo Boingo, The Aquabats, Walter Carlos, NOFX, The Ventures, Joe Jackson, The Clash, Atom and his Package, and Hank Williams, realize that that isn't even the tip of the iceberg. Basically, I don't like Pearl Jam or Crass, everything else, even post-Cliff-Burton Mettalica, is good in my book.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've had Vanilla Ice threaten to kick my ass while I was opening for him. Does that count?
