About Me

ABOUT ME

I'm a restless guy from Zwolle, Holland who loves to travel, work (I have a fantastic job, so that's not weird) and absorb all kinds of music. I'm always on the move in some way and looking for new adventures.

Music, Movies, and Books

I loves me my musics! I can handle right about any musicgenre and some of my favorite bands are Amadou et Miriam, Beck, Bonobo, Boyz Noise, C-Mon & Kypski, Curtis Mayfield, Daniel Lohues, Desert Sessions, dEUS, Digitalism, Eagles Of Death Metal, Elliott Smith, Foo Fighters, Justice, Led Zeppelin, Mark Lanegan, Masters of Reality, Michna, Queens of the Stone Age, Radiohead, Skip James, Sneaker Pimps, Soulwax, Supergrass, Telefon Tel Aviv, Unkle, Zero 7 (I'm a pretty big nerd when it comes to placing all my cd's in alphabetic order, so I thought; why not here..)

Although I'm not a big reader, I have my favorites.. Among them; Tipping Point, Perfume, The world according to Garp, Kramer vs. Kramer, Joe Speedboot, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy

My attentionspan is not nearly good enough to enjoy a good moviemarathon (that's why I organise an annual SHORT MOVIE festival)... Still I've seen quite a few good movies; Life of David Gayle, Spun, Napoleon Dynamite, Anchorman, Sa som i Himmelen, Natural Born Killers, The Big Lebowski, Dancer in the Dark, Dogville

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travelling Myanmar (as part of my 8 month travel through the South-east Asia) was one big magic train ride. Especially the one-and-a-half week stay at Ngwe Saung-beach was amazing. The unbelievable waterfestival in Mandalay was a five day party frenzy ; drowning in local festival fun with horrific drinks, scary people and great Burmese friendships

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Laos, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Spain, Thailand

Countries I’ve Lived In

Netherlands
