Resumen
Sobre mí
Hey, salut, salam oua alaykoum and Guten Tag,
my name is Badreddine. But since I can remember eveyone has called me just Badr. Foreigners and strangers called me Patrick, Bad or Batrek (I don´t know why but maybe they couldn´t spell out my name) I was born and grew up in Germany, in a small city near Frankfurt. My roots lie in Morocco, where my parents come from. I gratuated at Goethe-University. During that time I worked as research assistant, too. For a while, during my legal trainee, I lived in Bangkok (one of my best time I´ve ever spent). I try to spend every free minute on travelling. For me it´s not so important to see every tourist hotspot. Sitting around locals , discussing, joking cooking together could make your journey more memorable.
Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing
It was a coincidence. Travelled to Hamburg because of a conference and rent an appartement via airbnb. Wanted to drive back home the weekend and stayed at least there for more two days. The lessor and I became friends and he told me that he offers his appartments also via couchsurfing. Maurice and I chilled at the Alster and cooked together. I had a nice time with him and his friends. The more I travel the more I learn people.
Intereses
I love playing and watching soccer, just walking through the streets or sitting in a bistro watching the world go by.
I´m interested in philosophy, law, politics and - in this regard - cultural translation
Música, películas y libros
Books ( I definitely don´t want to bore you). Here one of my recommendations:
Oliver Sacks, An Anthropologist on Mars
Tahar Benjeloun, Le racisme expliqué a ma fille
Music (almost everything): From Jazz through French Hiphop up to Pop and local music.
Movies (spent to much for watching movies): Jean Reno is a great actor (word*).
Algo increíble que he hecho
Travelled with my father in a Jeep from Germany to France, took the ferry to Morocco and explored the country.
Met a monk in the immigration office who helped me to find the way back home. Took a cab and train together. Such an instructive conversation.
Enseña, aprende, comparte
It´s up to you, learning means sharing experiences and knowledge.
Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones
I think you will know it if you are hosted, but first at all - I would say - my hospitality.
