ABOUT ME

I'm a relaxed person with a relaxed pace.
To begin with: i love games of all kinds. I love humor.
I don't smoke, and only rarely drink. I'm quite pragmatic and thus easy to get along with.
I'm independent can take care of myself if need be.
I enjoy learning new things and delving deeply into interesting topics, both alone and with other people. That includes both theoretical and practical areas.
I like a good discussion as long as no one is offended. I'm quite quick at learning, but i tend to get confused in chaotic and pressed situations. Somethimes i like that chaos if i can just let it flow around me. Other times i can't stand it because it obstructs me.
I like looking at the beauty of things. I like to imagine new things and think about what could be instead of what is. I enjoy playing theatre and musicals, and don't mind standing up in front of people, but i only do so when i have something on my mind. I love to sing and would like to do so with others if they want. I also like sports, but i can't honestly say i'm good at it. I play tennis at an amateur level.
I like doing things well instead of doing them fast, but i don't believe there is one way that is "right". After all, every way of doing things brings an unique experience of its own. I would like to get a lot of those experiences, because i haven't been travelling that much in my life so far.

PHILOSOPHY

I live my life to be happy. That goal, however, is quite hard to work directly towards because of its fleeting nature.
I live to learn.
Everything is tempoary.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Mostly, i'm best at listening during a conversation. But i can talk quite a lot if the topic and atmosphere really catches me. I make sure things work out and that everybody gets heard. I tend to watch things from different angles, perhaps giving others a new perspective on things.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Linkin Park, Evanescence, lots of mixed stuff which is good for singing along to. I dislike repetitive music such as some parts of pop and techno.
Books: Dragon Lance, Eragon & Harry Potter when i was younger, the Witcher saga recently
Movies: Not the big movie shark. Grand films like "Lord of the rings", "Star Wars", some of the "Harry Potter" films and "Inception" are great. Thought provoking films with a great plot like "The Prestige" are also great.
TV series: "Lie to Me", "How i met your mother", "Game of Thrones", "Scrubs" and "Dexter"

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Played the Artful Dodger in the musical Oliver Twist in front of 3000 people over 10 days at an age of 12.
