ABOUT ME
Hard facts:
- Student of Management
- Sports: Soccer, Mountainbiking, Running
More Details:
I can easily be described as an outgoing and active person. I love to spend time with my friends but also enjoy making new friends all over the world.
I can hardly be find being in a bad mood. I am almost always smiling and I like to make people around me smile as I enjoy good company.
I am not really good in doing things just on my own. I prefer to have someone to share my experiences and special moments with. I am also always happy to help and to care for people.
I can rarely be found at home as I spend most of my time studying, working or (and that is my favorite part) doing sports outdoors.
When it comes to sports I really like to try as many activities as possible. Besides the things I do regularly like soccer, runnnig and riding my bike, I also tried climbing and at the moment I am doing Krav Maga. There is still a lot on my list now.
I like to listen to music, just by myself to relax but even more when I am out with my friends having a good time. I mostly listen to Indie, House and Electro music but I am really open to all other kinds of music and always keen to disover new bands or songs.
I enjoy going out a lot preferably to small clubs with a really nice atmosphere.
If I decide to like something (e.g. mountainbiking) I easily get really passionate about it and I try to pass this passion on to other people. I convinced my girlfriend to try mountainbiking and she ended up buying her own bike.
When it comes to food I used to be very choosy pretending not to like any vegetables or fruit and sticking to pizza and pasta most of the days.
Due to my girlfriend and our travels I quit my unhealthy diet (well, I still love Pizza) and I am keen to try new things from different countries. It astonishes me a lot how delicious even vegetables can be.
During our time in Indonesia I esspecially fell in love with nasi goreng.
PHILOSOPHY
Its quite easy.
I want to live life to the fullest!

Music, Movies, and Books
When it comes to reading I mostly stick to things like "Freakonomics" by Steven D. Levitt or "Predictably Irrational" by Dan Ariely.
I do not watch a lot of TV and I do not spend a lot of money on going to the cinema. If I do I most of the times go to a really small cinema in Bochum which shows movies which are not necessarily shown in the big movie theatres.
Still I enjoy some of the Hollywood Blockbusters as well.
I also enjoy series like Modern Family which really made me laugh out loud sometimes.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
During 2010 I spend two months in Indonesia teaching English at a school/orphanage for disabled children. During this time I lived with a muslim host family. A time I will never forget.
I am also always impressed by how beautiful and diverse nature is.
I spend some time biking in the Alps last year and it was breathtaking.
Teach, Learn, Share
I would like to share my humour, many laughs and good times. I can offer to show you around the city of Bochum and other cities nearby.
I would like to get to know people with different cultural backgrounds.
