ABOUT ME

I am a 43 years old married and non smoking kind man and I am the first CS member in west Sumatera. Beside teaching English at one of the great of State Senior High School in my area, I am also becoming senior local guide for local and foreign tourists who get great time to visit my hometown. Then for my leisure time, I teach English for private students, especially for the Chinese community in China town in my hometown Payakumbuh, and some locals students in Lima Puluh Kota Regency as well.

PHILOSOPHY

Having a lot friends of course will make the world feel much bigger, much more wonderful and live more and more happily and more meaningful.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love hosting and giving much detailed information about Minang Kabau cultures. I also usually have time to take and show him or her about every tourist destinations spots in Lima Puluh Kota Regency, Payakumbuh Municipality , and West Sumatera Province.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Luckily, I have hosted several different persons from various countries. Then, I could make sure that they felt happy staying with my big family, my cousins and close relatives.

Interests

Sport : I love playing table tennis and play foot ball
as well as Futsal indoor game.
fishing fish on the rivers, lakes and in the
beach.
Fishing eels in rice fields & fish ponds in my
lovely village.
To keep stamina fit so I love hiking to the
hills behind my house and going hunting wild boars every Sunday, Tuesday, & Fiday morning.
For killing the time, I love reading books and
sharing or talking about lives and experiences
and watching Indonesian movies and Western ones.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies : I love watching English movies, Adventures as
well as Indonesian romance ones,
Musics : listening to English and Indonesians, and
Minang or local songs,
Books : reading novels, someone's successful career
and best seller books as well as English ones.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

when I was 8, I had a smart chipmunk/squirrel but unfortunately, one day my Mom stepped on it as I let it play in our kitchen so it died tragically under my Mom foot. But now luckily I get one. I found it when I went shooting a few months ago in the garden behind my wife's house. it begins tamer and tamer. I put it in good cage in other room in my house. I am so happy to have it again.

Teach, Learn, Share

Do you want to learn fishing eels ?. I will take and show you how to fish them, make local drink hot shake egg tea that is believed that it could stimulate man energy (I don't guarantee it). I love English much and also I want to learn other languages when someone could help me to learn ones. Let's share our lives & experiences to others guys..!
