About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Enjoying summer in Samos and working on my PhD!

ABOUT ME

I am probably known as a talker - listener kind of guy. I really enjoy discussing various matters with various people and creating a bond, an atmosphere through our common understanding of things.

PHILOSOPHY

The first and last obligation for a person living on earth is that he must die. In the meantime he d better have a good time because probably he won't have another chance to do so.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I hosted people mostly in the past. Now I can do that again in my house in Samos!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My experience up to now is nearly totally positive, so I will carry on hosting and surfing. Until now the project has totally earned my respect as a genuine method of meeting and knowing people.

Interests

Latest obsessions would be :
Swimming
Playing music with friends
Watching sci-fi movies and series
Programming python
Diving into ecological modelling and insect brain evolution

Music, Movies, and Books

I prefer documentaries above all. Especially history, politics and wildlife. I try to keep in touch with the world cinema production and I adore animation movies. Lately series have caught my attention (The wire, true detective, house of cards, altered carbon, westworld)

I play the guitar sometimes and like having music nights with friends. That happens a lot in the island...!

I like reading history, political philosophy or science books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I really can't say. Living I guess. Amazing isn't it...

Teach, Learn, Share

Well something fairly easy I can teach is finding and naming the constellations on the night sky.

Other things such as chess or guitar are difficult to teach in such a short time as a one-week visit.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Cooking time! Household stuff!

Countries I’ve Visited

Armenia, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Ethiopia, France, Germany, Israel, Montenegro, Romania, Serbia, Turkey

Countries I’ve Lived In
