Overview
About Me
I've been telling myself I'm a writer for years, but have recently accepted I am a person that writes. I love meeting new people and have dipped in and out of the couch world for many years and had a load of fun doing it.
I like eating good food, listening to good music and well anything that has good as a prefix really.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have hosted in several homes and surfed in several homes across Europe.
I think my reasons have stayed much the same across the years, it's just a really good way to meet interesting people and see places from a local perspective. Bring the world to my door.

Music, Movies, and Books
the travellers cliche - Kerouac, Murakami, Coupland, Hellier, Vonnegut, Bukowski, Banks so many more.
Another cliche, I love ALL music. There is a special place in my heart for the Blues though.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Walked 100km through the English Dales in 27 hours and lost some toenails in the process.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you English, sarcasm and how not to dance.
I love to learn, good and bad lessons.
I like to detach myself from the tourist version see places from the local perspective.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I've just moved to a new apartment and it has a massive roof terrace with views of the city. During the Summer it is simply the best place for BBQ's and relaxing on the sofas. There's also a pool.
Spare room with a double bed. Local knowledge
